Announcements- Monday 12/18

The incentive for December will be a game day! The criteria is 1 or less absence, 2 or less infractions, and 20% or less missing work.

The Building 21 for Puerto Rico bracelets are back!  Students will be selling the bracelets Monday through Wednesday next week.  They are perfect for last minute Christmas gifts!  Bracelets are still $2 and all proceeds support a great cause.

There will be a student government meeting on Monday after school in room 122.

The PPL Engineering Exploring program will meet on Tuesday, Dec.19th from 3:30-5:00. Come out to meet the engineers, do a fun design challenge, and eat PIZZA!!!  See you in the Maker Space.

Art club is canceled for today.

Congratulations to Sabrina Mercado for receiving the Academic Perseverance Award from Union Baptist!

There will be Math Club from 3:30-4:30 after school today. All are welcome!

• To Xavier Valerio: Xavier worked really hard on his essay today. I'm proud of his efforts, inquisitive questions and his desire to improve. Keep up this awesome intelligence. EFFORT.

• To Kymani Simelani: I've noticed that you always show effort in TTO, often staying after class to make sure your assignments are complete. Thank you for maintaining focus, even when the environment makes getting work done a challenge.

• A special shout-out! To Mrs. Cook: Thank you so much for getting gym equipment donated to our school! You are awesome!!
