Creating learning opportunities that take place outside our typical classroom is important to our goal of helping students identify their strengths, interests and passions. These authentic experiences are designed to take place in and among our larger community where students are able to imagine themselves in a rewarding profession or  immersed in studies on a college campus. It is through this exposure that students are able to gain insight as to what their future may hold.

Summer Work Programs

As a designer at Building 21 Allentown, and with the support of our industry partners, students are able to experiment within real world careers by working alongside mentor partners. Our summer work program not only exposes our students to a potential career field, it also provides professional development opportunities to build employability skills that will allow our students to stand out among other college and career candidates.

Current partner we are working with is Lehigh Valley Health Network. All departments are available.
